Calgary Field’s programs are developed and led by ELEV8 Lacrosse. ELEV8 introduces participants to lacrosse and teaches fundamentals in an inclusive and engaging environment. The program focuses on building players’ confidence and having success.
ELEV8’s world-class, passionate, and knowledgeable coaching staff combine sessions with activities and games to reinforce fundamental skills.

No previous experience is required for any of the age groups. We encourage new players to join at any level. It is never too late to start playing lacrosse.

What to Expect
Throughout the summer, ELEV8’s coaching staff will teach a hybrid model of field lacrosse along with fundamentals, skills, strategies, and techniques, enabling young players to progress in an expedited fashion and develop into better athletes, players, competitors and citizens.

U11 Program
The U11 co-ed program is a continuation of our U9 program. Calgary Field players may be placed into one of two practice groups (depending on enrolment numbers). The development group is designated for players who are new to field lacrosse. The experienced group is designed for players who have field lacrosse previously.
Groups are structured, organized, and reviewed by ELEV8 Lacrosse and are primarily structured by age, experience, skill, and athleticism. ELEV8 Lacrosse will evaluate skill, ability, athleticism, and effort and place players in the appropriate practice groups; no tryouts will be conducted. There may be movement between practice groups throughout the summer based on effort and skill shown by players at the complete discretion of ELEV8’s professional coaching staff.
Inter-squad games
Season registration includes inter-squad games designed to teach U9 to U19 players to compete in a structured, safe, and fun environment. The ELEV8 coaching staff will be on the field providing position-specific training that addresses the intricacies of each position and increases players’ overall lacrosse IQ
